StarkFrightful
Hairless calico she-cat with mesmerizing blue eyes
* * *
Age: 20 moons
Gender: she-cat
Rank: Deputy
Clan: Nightclan
* * *
Appearance: I have no fur so leaf bare is very hard on me. my skin burns in the sun. I am completely different. I have very long fast legs which I use to run a lot to warm up in the cold. My skin is lean and not very wrinkly. I have gorgeous blue eyes, possibly the only think my appearance has going for me. there is a little bit of fur on my nose but not much. my skin is calico patterned however without the fur it is not so attractive looking. I have a thin tail that is very long and big pointy ears.
Personality: Despite my upbringing and outcasted upbringing, I grew up with a rather well put sense of humor. I stand up for the underdog, the ones who are different. I have a firey personality and very little patience. I don't believe in love or the possibility of anyone seeing me as other then a clan-mate. I have a strong will and a nurturing side to me. I look out for everyone and care greatly about my clan. Despite their original uncertainty about me, I work my best to be the best warrior I can and prove my loyalty a hundred times over. I would die for any one of my clan-mates. I cannot stand laziness. I don't like it when a cat makes fun of me I get a bit huffy. I can hold my own against anyone.
History: As a kit: Imagine being told strait up by your own mother, "You've got to be the ugliest thing I have ever seen" The sad thing is I probably was. I was the biggest embarrassment to my father and mother. My mothers name has been Ladybird and my father, Warningcry. Both were loyal members of Nightclan. I was a Big enough embarrassment for them to never mate again in fear of creating more of me. My mother was distant and raised me as best she could, she acted like she loved me, but I could see in her eyes that I was the last thing she wanted. She was beautiful, and my father very handsome. So their kit's should have been fluffy gorgeous highly potential filled little furballs. Instead they got me, completely hairless me. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to drown me once or twice. But of course I'm not bitter at all about it. And you see even having the prettiest eyes in the world does not counter having no fur. I tried that one already. Right before I became an apprentice my father was killed by a monster while trying to save his apprentice. after that my mother's heart went completely cold.
As an Apprentice: Boy as you can imagine the warriors were just lining up from here to starclan trying to be my mentor. Poor Graybelly was stuck mentoring me, he seemed about as happy about it as I was. It's a wonder I made it to being a warrior at all with his neglectful tactics of training. I was a natural born warrior though, every bit as skilled and powerful as my father with the grace and wits of my mother. they never saw it though, never saw anything except that I was different. I spent my entire apprenticeship trying to be the best i could be and prove I wasn't a sign from starclan that the clan was doomed to grave danger. I don't honestly know how I even survived growing up in the clan. Every time a new litter was being born to one of the queens everyone would hold their breath, and I knew. I knew in my heart they were all praying I remained the only one. remained the only ugly cat in the forest. Toward the end of my apprenticeship a great attack took place from a band of rogues. I fought well and saved an entire litter of kits from being killed. I had earned my warrior name. Starkskin.
As a warrior: I hated my warrior name. I felt like I was only being seen as the cat with no fur. I shrived to prove myself further to the clan. I really longed to make a difference. At first I dreamed of having kits and raising a family. Would you be so surprised to learn that no tom could look at me as beautiful? Around this time I gave up on love. I realized it wasn't in starclans plan for me. I was given an apprentice, Brakepaw. [I'm going to make him as a cat] At first he cursed the day I was made his mentor, but he soon grew to accept me and look up to me. I envied the handsome little tomcat. Everything came so easy for him. The rogues we had defeated suck revenge two seasons later. I cleverly caused a rock-slide to destroy them all just when we were about to lose the battle. our deputy among several others had perished. That night I was given a new name, I had proven myself beyond my looks. I was renamed StarkFrightful. I liked this name much better, it made me feel strong. It made me feel needed. Then my leader surprised me one more time, I was made deputy.
As a Deputy: My appointment in the clan was met with mixed emotions. No doubt I was an excellent choice based on my warrior skills and my personality, however with my lack of fur I had several complications the clan saw as a weakness. I have only been deputy for a moon now, I await the time when they see this is what I was born for.

Roleplay Sample: StarkFrightful paced around camp watching her warriors hustle and bustle in the daily activities of camp life. she watched as the apprentices cleared out the elders den, her own apprentice heading up the operation. She twitched her whiskers in approval and made a mental note to reward him for it later. Perhaps she would allow him to join her on evening patrol. He'd been begging to go for a few days now. She lazly brushed her tongue over her naked skin and then scratched her ear with her back paw. It was a rather warm day for leafbare, the sun leveled just the right temperature on her skin. She wondered where her leader was, but this was not a long thought on her always changing mind. She yawned and padded over toward the enterence to camp. Might as well make herself useful and catch a mouse or two. Anything to be alone for a little bit.
