Nimblefoot
tall silver tabby she-cat with blue eyes
* * *
Age: 23 moons
Gender: she-cat
Rank: Warrior
Clan: ReedClan
* * *
Appearance:
Nimblefoot has a figure of a she-cat. Slim and beautiful. Why wasn't she named for her beauty? Well, there's a reason for that. She didn't get her name without a purpose. She is quite tall, looking rather older than she actually is. Her slim, long legs makes her a graceful hunter, and a fast runner. The way she walks due to this abnormal feature definitely makes the toms go wild.But that isn't the only thing that makes her memorizing to look at.
Her face matches her body. Her cheeks are sharp but slim against her face. Her muzzle doesn't stick out much, making her rather cute looking. Her eyes are innocent blue orbs, having a slight green tint to them. Her nose is an odd combination of pink and gray, in short a dark gray nose with a pink layer. Her whiskers are a variety of white and dove gray, depending on their placement.
Moving on to her pelt, it is a thick layer of fur that isn't too long, nor is it considered short. It is just the right length to make her look fluffy. Her fur is a mingle of silver, dark gray, and white. This gives her the look of a darkish silver, that is streaked with darker stripes that run across her body. The front side of her body, which includes the chest, muzzle, and leg area, are a creamy white. Her toes are also dipped in white as well.
Personality:
Nimblefoot is...a lot like her brother, to make it short and sweet. But that isn't very interesting to tell, is it? Besides, what if you didn't know her brother, Rippleheart? Well, let's get started then. Nimblefoot isn't as graceful personality wise as she is in movement and appearance. At first glance, you would actually think of her as kind and gentle. But her looks are very misleading. No, she isn't near that. Actually, if you met her, the first trait that would come to your mind is being bossy. Strange for a she-cat, yes? Not for her. If you lived with her every day, you would think every she-cat is bossy.
Nimblefoot is also a bit of a control freak. She wants things to be done her way, and her way only. She obviously has a phobia of things going badly, and thinks that if she is in control, everything would go smoothly. It is just one of the many annoying traits about her. She isn't fully a bad character, though. She is a little distant with cats she doesn't know, but if you are acquainted with her, she is quite friendly. Almost too friendly. She is much of a talker, and you'd better get used to it.
Nimblefoot is also very protective, almost over-protective, of anything she as bonded to. From being a warrior, to her siblings and closest friends. She is very short-tempered, and even the littlest things piss her off. But, say the right things, and you won't get your ears claws off.
History:
Forbidden love. That is the reason for Nimblefoot's birth. Along with her siblings, Cloudypelt, Rippleheart, and Moonflower. She was born to the blind queen Mistygaze, and is proud of it. No matter what she is always willing to protect her mother from the harsh words spoken about her. No, she isn't incredibly close to her, but enough to come to her in request of words of advice.Before them, it was said that Mistygaze had another litter consisting of Featherkit, Streakedkit and Thrushkit, but obviously she had never met them. Or so it is thought.
Unknowingly, her older siblings along with her father, Sootstorm, live in NightClan.
Besides that, her life is pretty normal. She grew up productively with her siblings, unique bonds forming with them. Despite the often fights with her brother Rippleheart, she has a close and protective nature with her brothers and sister. She has an especially close bond with her sister, Moonflower, and spends time with her as much as possible. Even going so far as to volunteer for patrols Moonflower is in.
As a new warrior, she was at the top of her game. She had a best friend named Brackenstripe, whom she started to have a crush on, and siblings that survived with her, as well as a loving mother to top it off. Life was great. Until her very first patrol.
Nimblefoot bounded across the camp, excitedly taking Brackenstripe's side as they headed out on their first patrol. Brackenstripe didn't look as excited, but he never did. He always had this stupid calm expression. Even if a badger came to eat them all he would be calm. But, maybe that's why she liked him so well. Opposites attract, eh? "Are you at least a bit excited?" Nimblefoot laughed, giving her friend a nudge. "You know me well enough. You decide."
"Fine, you're excited. More excited than me!"
"I wouldn't bet on that."
As the two followed the leader of the patrol who was going quite slow, which was definitely not satisfying Nimblefoot's excitement, she went along with it anyway, walking in cold silence. Then the cat in front of them, Birdswipe, stopped. "Why are we stopping? It's bad enough we are going about the same speed as a snail."
"I just wanted to take in the sights. Is that so bad?"
"Yeah, if the Clan is waiting for us to get back!"
"Nimblefoot, look out!"
Brackenstripe screeched, lunging at Nimblefoot with great speed. "Hey! Wha-"
He had saved her.
Nimblefoot pushed Brackenstripe side to get up, immediately shifting her gaze toward him. He was dead. Looking up, a badger loomed over the two cats, glaring menacingly at them with cold resentment. "You piece of fox-dung!" Nimblefoot snarled harshly, rage rising like a wild fire. Leaping in the air, she gripped on the head of the beast, tearing into its' skin. It gave out a yowl, swinging it's head and knocking Nimblefoot into a tree. Blackness consumed her vision.
When Nimblefoot woke up, both her best friend and Birdswipe were dead. She guessed the badger thought she was dead also, and went its' merry way back to its' den. Since then, she has become a bossy little fur ball, wanting to be in control of every situation. In her mind, if she was the leader of the patrol, if she was taking control, they wouldn't be going so slow. They would be alive. No, she didn't blame Birdswipe, but she did blame herself.
